Update March 2024: two years on, Folks Gallery is still going strong. Their coffee is just outstanding - best dirty chai I've had in a long time - and their toasties are on point, too! It's no wonder they have such a loyal following. You get what you give, and in this case - a whole lotta love and a whole lotta joy. <3 Original review: We paid a visit to show our support after seeing that horrid racist incident - and I must say, we definitely got the better end of the deal! The owner and staff were so lovely; toasties were made to perfection, sweet treats on point and the coffee divine. And their dine in coffee comes served in Huskee cups! Even better! There's so much heart and soul in this little cafe - it especially shows through the original artwork. If you're after a humble, reliable go-to without the pretentiousness or price tag of, say, other Dickson coffee joints - this is your place!

Good -My favourite coffee shop in Dickson. -Nice coffee. So good. -Polite and calm staff. -Outdoor tables. -My barista friend told me that barista here made coffee properly. Bad -Nil

It's disappointing to see the low reviews. Some people are too quick to judge or are just too fussy or have unrealistic expectations. I have given my fair share of bad reviews, but they were well thought out. Not just based on having to wait for an order longer than usual (try working in hospitality and see how under the pump people can be). I thought they had delicious coffee. Vincent and the other lady were sweet people. Cute little space and beautiful artwork for sale. Vincent has a very thoughtful practise of limiting waste and making things affordable for people, which can be difficult in this modern day with all of the price hikes. I highly recommend this place.

This was the best almond cappuccino ever. Kudos to the amazing barista, this was delicious! It’s small and cosy, with lovely local artworks on the walls and at the bench. And there is ample space to sit outside as well. It has a bit of a urban feel to it, unpretentious and simple.

It has become my go to place for coffe everytime I come to Canberra , always a pleasure to try some monthly special flavoured coffee , the iced coconut latte was awesome Suggestions for the cafe owner - please keep the iced coconut latte on the menu - it might bring more customers to the shop if the door is open . I thought it was closed but I gave it a try the cafe was actually open , I found other people walk by and didn’t know it was open too

Absolutely love coffee here! ☕️ The flat white is super smooth and creamy - the best I’ve had in Canberra! 🤍 Also highly recommend the matcha latte with almond milk — it’s perfectly balanced and not too sweet🫶🏻 Such a cozy spot with great drinks. Definitely coming back!

A lovely small cafe in Dickson that sells Sonoma pastries and fantastic coffee. The vibe is so chill here. Perfect for Sunday morning recovery!

Great coffee! Really enjoyed the quality of the brew — rich, smooth, and well-balanced. Only wish there was more seating space, especially during busy hours. Would definitely come back!

This is the best coffee in Dickson! 100% 'Folks Gallery' is a small understated cafe with pastries and original small Artworks for sale on the walls. Vincent, the owner, doesn't promote his cafe because he says 'it speaks for itself'. The high quality and great value Campos coffee, made with barista finesse, is strong and not bitter. Served promptly and with a smile, Vincent takes his coffee very seriously. You will not be disappointed.
